John Jackson Scholarship and Branch Leadership Winners Announced

Redlands Shop Steward Darrell Jefferies was awarded the 2nd Annual John Jackson Scholarship Award by Branch President Charlie Miller.   The Scholarship was named after former Senior Vice President of Training and Advocacy John Jackson after his retirement from the NALC last year.  The position of Senior Vice President of Training and Advocacy was retired in the honor of John Jackson.  
  
Riverside Shop Steward Jessica Kamae was awarded a Branch Leadership Award at the Stewards Appreciation Brunch on March 14, 2010.  Jessica has shown some outstanding leadership abilities throughout the years.

John Lea Memorial Recipient Winner

On March 14, 2010 Charlie Miller presented South Gate Shop Steward Antoinette Greer the John Lea Memorial Award. The John Lea award is awarded to individuals who are active in their communities.  Antoinette is very active in her community for breast cancer awareness.  She runs a non-profit organization which supports women who are diagnosed with breast cancer.  Antoinette also does educational outreach on breast health and fund raisers to support cancer research.
