Important PTF & Opting information

It has been brought to the attention of the Union that the Santa Ana district has unilaterally made a decision to start PTF letter carriers who have opted on assignments at 9:30am instead of the actual start time of the route.  This is a contract violation.  If you are a PTF who has opted on a vacant assignment for 5 days or more and management is telling you to report at 9:30am or any other time other than the start time of the route, immediately contact the shop steward in your office or contact the Branch Office so a grievance can be filed.
