Arthur, Art, brother, uncle, cousin, dad, papa, big pop, chief, president or friend - It didn’t matter what name you knew him by—you definitely knew him and his big heart. Art, or as many of us called him, Papa, was a little bit of everything. It’s hard to capture the fullness of his life in a few short paragraphs, but we can share a few memories of the many that will echo for eternity.

Arthur Henry Turner was born to Henry Huel and Sarah Lois (Southall) Turner on June 8, 1937, in Pinegrove, Kentucky. On September 2, 2025, at his home in Rosarito, Baja California, Art peacefully left this world to join the love of his life and wife, Jane (Morris) Turner, at their heavenly home. There they are reunited with their sons Ronnie and Troy Turner, his sisters Lois Ann Solomon…
