About the event
Introductory Class - learn about a shop steward's duties, responsibilities, and rights.
Beginning Class - learn the basics of filing a grievance. You must attend 3 classes before being certified (class begins at the start of the branch meeting)
Intermediate Class - newly certified stewards learn how to investigate, prepare, and file grievances for common issues
Advanced Class - Continuing education for stewards
